Terms of Service

The rules for using Cinematic Pro — what you're agreeing to, what stays yours, and what we don't cover.

01Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Cinematic Pro application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

02Description of Service

Cinematic Pro allows users to upload video content or import it via a YouTube link, after which the App uses automated speech transcription and AI models to identify highlight moments, reframe video for different aspect ratios, and generate captions. Cinematic Pro also offers optional features — including Media Kit and Growth Intelligence — that can connect to your YouTube and/or Instagram accounts, described further in Section 06.

03User Content

You retain ownership of any video content you upload. By uploading content, you confirm you have the right to do so and to have it processed by the App's automated systems.

04Acceptable Use

  • Do not upload content you do not have the rights to use.
  • Do not use the App for any unlawful purpose.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the App's backend services.

05Third-Party AI Services

The App relies on third-party AI providers to transcribe and analyze video content. Processing times and availability may depend on these providers.

06YouTube API Services

Some Cinematic Pro features — currently Media Kit and Growth Intelligence — can optionally connect to your YouTube account using YouTube API Services. By connecting your YouTube account, you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and acknowledge the Google Privacy Policy.

  • Connecting YouTube is optional. Declining or disconnecting it does not prevent you from using the rest of the App.
  • You retain full ownership and control of your YouTube content and channel at all times.
  • Cinematic Pro currently requests read-only access to your YouTube channel and analytics data — we do not publish, upload, edit, or otherwise modify anything on your YouTube channel through this connection.
  • You can disconnect your YouTube account at any time from Settings — doing so deletes the stored access tokens and cached channel/analytics data from our systems immediately, as described in our Privacy Policy. Disconnecting in-app does not itself revoke Google's own record of the authorization; to revoke Cinematic Pro's access on Google's side as well, visit your Google account's third-party access settings.
  • Our access to and use of information received from YouTube API Services will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements — we use YouTube data only to provide or improve the specific user-facing features described here, we do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising.
  • Google or YouTube may change, restrict, or discontinue API access at any time, for reasons outside our control. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability of features that depend on YouTube's API.
  • AI-generated titles, descriptions, tags, hashtags, and rate-card suggestions are drafts for your review — you decide what, if anything, to use, edit, or publish. We do not guarantee any level of views, ranking, subscribers, revenue, or other performance outcome from using these features.

07Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

08Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
