Refund & Cancellation Policy
How billing, cancellation, and refunds work across both of our apps — Cinematic Pro plans, billed through Razorpay, and Cineprompter by CinematicPro subscriptions, billed by the app stores. They are separate, and they are cancelled in different places.
01Subscriptions — Cinematic Pro
Cinematic Pro plans (Free, Starter, Pro, Creator) are billed monthly in advance. Payments are processed securely through Razorpay; we never see or store your card, UPI, or bank details.
Sections 02 to 04 below describe Cinematic Pro billing. Cineprompter works differently — see the next section.
01bSubscriptions — Cineprompter by CinematicPro
Cineprompter’s Calm subscription is not billed by us and not billed through Razorpay. It is sold by the Google Play Store on Android and the Apple App Store on iOS, at ₹49 per month or ₹299 per year. We never see or store your payment details, and we cannot charge, cancel or refund it ourselves — the store owns that billing relationship.
Cancelling. Cancel in the store, not in the app. On Google Play: Play Store → your profile → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions. On iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Calm stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Refunds. Refunds for Calm are handled by Google or Apple under their own refund policies, because the store took the payment. Request one from the store directly. If a store refuses and you believe the charge was wrong, write to contact@weuinnovations.in and we will look into it, but we cannot issue a store refund on your behalf.
Calm is not ad-free. It removes full-screen ads, rewarded offers and app-open ads, and keeps banner ads on the home, library and settings screens.
Cancelling a Cinematic Pro plan does not cancel Calm, and cancelling Calm does not cancel a Cinematic Pro plan. Deleting your account cancels neither — see Delete your account.
02Cancellation
`nCancel before your next renewal date to stop the next charge. Cancellation stops future billing; it does not end the period already paid for. Your plan and remaining allowance continue until the end of that service or subscription period, after which the account returns to the Free plan.
03Refunds
A 100% refund is available only when no paid service or paid-plan allowance has been used during the billing period. If any paid feature, processing allowance, generation, caption, export, or other paid service is used on even one day, the payment is non-refundable. The customer may continue using the remaining plan access until the end of the paid service or subscription period.
Billing and legal exceptions: we will investigate duplicate charges, failed transactions, charges made after a confirmed cancellation, and other billing errors. Nothing in this policy limits a refund or consumer right required by applicable law. Purchases made through Google Play or Apple remain subject to the store's refund rules.
04How Refunds Are Processed
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method via Razorpay and typically reflect within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer's own processing time.
05Reporting a Billing Issue
For a Cineprompter charge, start with the store (Google Play or Apple) — they hold the transaction and are the only party who can refund it. For a Cinematic Pro charge, or if a store has refused and you believe the charge was wrong: If you believe you've been charged incorrectly, contact contact@weuinnovations.in (or reach out through the in-app feedback form) with your account email and the date of the charge. We aim to respond to every billing complaint within 5 business days.
06Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
